Joe (Cotton Eyed Jo*'s Story
**Joe is currently being fostered in HOUSTON. He is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. His adoption fee is $495, which covers his transport to his new family, a travel kennel, and health certificate. He is fully vetted, spayed and microchipped.** Where did you come from, where did you go? Where did you come from, Cotton-Eye Joe? Howdy! My name is Cotton Eye'd Joe - but you can call me Joe for short! I was found as a stray with a severely injured eye and leg-most likely because I was clipped by a car. Whew! It was a close one! Fortunately for me, a plea went out to save me and the folks at Joyrides Rescue jumped right in! Off we went to the vet where I had my eye removed. I'm feeling alot better now and my foster mom tells me I'm as handsome as ever! I'm a goofy little guy! I may be just 15 lbs but I've got a big personality! I live in a foster home with several other dogs (boys and girls) and do great but I would prefer a home with girl dogs only. (what can I say? I love the lady dogs! BOL!) My most favorite thing is cuddling on the couch, watching TV. I also like to play with my toys and will entertain myself for a long time with them. My former life wasn't so great and I was never allowed in the house before so I'm learning all about the weird things humans like like TV's, fans, and that scary vacuum cleaner. I've learned to go potty outside and a blanket on the couch is my preferred dog bed! I like playing with smaller dogs (big dogs kinda scare me) and me and my foster sister like to play chase and wrestle. I'm all healed up and ready to find my forever home. Will you be my new family?
