Heracles originates in Greek language and means "Hera's glory". In Greek mythology, Heracles was the son of Zeus and Alcmene, hated by Hera. Being the Olympian order champion, he became a symbol of strength, courage and sexual fitness. In Rome, and later on in Western world, he is known as Hercules.
