Gemstone
Inbar is a Hebrew variant of Amber. Amber originates in Arabic language and is taken from the word for a fossilized tree resin, used in perfumes and especially jewelry. Its typical yellow-orange look also gave the name to the amber color. In the United States it was most popular in the 1980s. It was popularized by Kathleen Winsor in her 1944 novel Forever Amber.
