Rosabel is a combination of Rose and the suffix -bel. Rose originates in Latin language and is derived from the fragrant flower. Its Latin meaning dates back to the 19th century. However, some sources suggest that originally Rose derived from a Norman name which meant "famous kind". The flower rose has always been a sign of love, beauty and also the astrological sign of Libra. It is also the name of a Sicilian saint in the 12th century.
