Titania originates in Greek language and probably refers to the Titans, powerful gods in Greek mythology. Titania was a character in A Midsummer Night's dream, a play by William Shakespeare. She was the queen of fairies and Shakespeare originally took the name from Ovid's Metamorphoses. Titania is also the largest moon of Uranus and a popular name for ships.
