Callie Symons's Story

Callie is a 3 - 5 month old medium size breed puppy. We really aren`t sure what she is! She currently weighs about 17 lbs and she is still growing. She looks like maybe a Shepherd / Beagle mix? Her foster mom says ``She is just wonderful. She is so affectionate and all she really seems to want is to be patted and cuddled. She does not have much interest in playing fetch. She just wants to be with people. She has met many of our neighbors, and has been very affectionate to all. On walking around the immediate area around our house, she explores, but likes to run back for pats and cuddles. She is definitely a tracker. when we`re outside, her nose is often to the ground, sniffing and sniffing, she is very cute. We played a game today of find the kibble! She is very good at responding to the ``sit`` command. She is clearly very smart. Callie is very energetic, very fast, and I am working with her to keep her from jumping up (she jumps very high). She sleeps happily through the night in her crate, and she is doing very well with her potty training too and learning quickly. She has settled in, and is eating well too. She is a very happy wee soul.``

Callie is being fostered in San Carlos. Her adoption fee of $350 covers her spay surgery, deworming and vaccinations.
