Kate's Story
Kate is a 2 year old "Mini Labradoodle" (Lab/ Poodle mix) that was surrendered from a commercial breeding kennel AKA puppy mill when they decided she wasnt going to be used in the breeding program. She is a very shy & timid pooch that will require a home without children under the age of 13. She reportedly LOVES other dogs and we feel she would do best in a home with a calm, kind dog to show her the ropes. She has never been leash trained, but staff will begin working with her while she is in our care. She has never lived inside a home so she will require a patient family that will give her time to adjust. Kate is currently meeting with potential adopters at our Perkiomenville shelter. Interested parties are encouraged to come meet her, please call first, and submit an application. Submitting an application is not an obligation nor is it a guarantee of selection, applications are reviewed and placement decisions are made with the dogs best interest in mind.
