Ernest's Story
Meet Ernest! This handsome Shar Pei mix fella is full of spunk and energy! Ernest enjoys playing with other dogs and romping around, but he still gets some good puppy naps in throughout the day. Ernest is showing his smarts and quickly learning how to dog, including potty and crate training. He also does well with dogs, cats, and kids. He is excited to meet you and can't wait to find his forever family! Our adoption process is usually quick but may take up to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require them to be present at the meeting to ensure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption. If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and will gladly consider your family for another dog.
