JJ's Story
JJ is a sweet grumpy old man whose favorite things are laying on you for rubs and going for walks around the neighborhood. He will do best in a home with a family that doesn't wear socks as he acts like a feral coyote when he sees socks and refuses to give them up while showing no interest in toys - he likes what he likes! JJ would do best in a home with older children or adults as he does have some mild resource guarding with his food and likes to be left alone to eat in peace. JJ is super snuggly and will paw at you or put his head in your hand for attention and he loves to get under the blankets at night and watch TV with you. Please note if you are applying for a kitten under six months of age, you must have another friendly kitty in the home or adopt another kitten. Additionally, unless otherwise indicted that this animal is a purebred, all of our animals are rescues and the "breed" selection is a best guess based on their apperance as we have no way of knowing their specific breeds. Out of state adoptions (outside Virginia/DC/Maryland) do require three years of excellent past or current veterinary references. We look forward to hearing from you!
