ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13212 Looking for a cute little Tootsie Pup to add to your pack for the New Year? Look no further! Blueberry is a 7 week old (as of 12.15.23) pup who is ready to roll into 2024 with his forever family. Just like his namesake, Blueberry is a mixture of German Shephard and ??? but is just as lovable as can be. He will be ready to roll right into 2024 with you on New Years Eve at 9 weeks old. His current weight is 6lb 12.2oz but we all know puppies grow like crazy so there is not telling how big he may be full grown. Mom is 66 pounds of sweet, loving pup so we are guessing large! As always with little ones they are not fully vaccinated yet but have received all age appropriate vaccines. Please keep this in mind as his health and safety is our main concern. Blueberry will need to be seen by your personal vet within 14 days of adoption to be scheduled for his final puppy shot and will need to be neutered before he reaches 6 months of age and receive a rabies vaccine at that time. Puppies are a life long commitment and come with challenges such as learning to walk on a leash and potty training along with teething. Please keep all this in mind when considering adoption of this cute little Tootsie Pup! To adopt fill out the simple online application at https://ophrescue.org Operation Paws for Homes, Inc. (OPH) rescues dogs and cats of all breeds and ages from high-kill shelters in NC, VA, MD, and SC, reducing the numbers being euthanized. With limited resources, the shelters are forced to put down 50-90% of the animals that come in the front door. OPH provides pet adoption services to families located in VA, DC, MD, PA and neighboring states. OPH is a 501(c)(3) organization and is 100% donor funded. OPH does not operate a shelter or have a physical location. We rely on foster families who open their homes to give love and attention to each pet before finding a forever home. All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.
