MILA's Story
This is MILA! She is 8 weeks old and 4.12 lbs as of 12/16/23. Based on her current weight, we think we will be a small dog. Mila was found by one of our volunteers with her brother, Liam, only 2 weeks ago in Puerto Rico and was flown to the States! She is now available to be adopted in the Tampa area! She has put on her Christmas best in hopes of attracting some attention! :) The foster describes her as playful, sweet, gentle, cuddly, yet with a little sass! There's definitely a little personality in her tiny body! Right now, her favorite thing to do is to play and then crash and sleep! She especially loves a warm and fuzzy blanket. She loves the finer fuzzier things in life. If a blanket is not in sight, she will find a fuzzy sweater and nestle in. Her favorite toy is - you guess it - fuzzy! She is really into her fuzzy mini tennis ball right now! She likes to break up her personal play time by playing a game of chase around your home until she gets tired and decides it's nap time! And if she's not chasing you, she is happy to chill in her bed while you work. She loves other dogs and she would be great in a home with another dog. If you happen to be looking for 2 pups, she and her brother are great together! But she'd be fine with another new pup as well! If you are a potential adopter with no other pups, that's fine too as long as she gets the attention she deserves! :) She's doing really wonderfully with housetraining. She is currently doing her business on wee wee pads and is very consistent about it. She's a smart girl!
