Sugar Plum's Story
*SUGAR PLUM IS LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME WITH ANOTHER DOG* Sugar Plum is a 6.5 year old spayed female Bichon Frise/Miniature Poodle mix who weighs 9.7 lbs. Sugar Plum came to All 4 Paws from a commercial kennel after she was retired from breeding. She was used up until the last possible moment, as when she was surrendered to us she had recently weaned a litter of puppies. She is understandably shy with all the changes around her, but she is doing her best to be brave. As time has passed in her foster home, she is getting more and more comfortable. She loves a routine and gets excited for meals and bedtime. Sugar Plum will need a patient family willing to work with her on her training, but as she is gaining confidence she is excelling. She is doing great with house training specifically. Sugar Plum has always lived with other dogs and is learning a lot from her canine companions so we will be looking for a home for her with a resident dog. It seems her tail is always wagging, and she is curious about new things. In a quieter environment we have no doubt Sugar Plum will flourish - all she needs is a chance.
