Kai's Story
Kai is a 7-week-old Gray Shepherd mix male puppy who was part of a litter of 5 siblings abandoned at a shelter. He is a real snuggler (the best one we’ve ever fostered) , very playful and often found under his siblings playing some rolling and tumbling game. He is very friendly and loving, often following us around curiously exploring. He flourishes with any contact like cuddles, ear rubs and belly rubs, and is great with his siblings (4 others, also abandoned at a shelter as babies). He has been socialized with kittens, kids and other larger dogs as well as his siblings. He would make a great first dog or could join others as he has a friendly, loving temperament and engages well with other dogs and cats. OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS AND COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. Kai is located in Texas. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.
