Benji's Story
Benji is a three-year, male, silky yorkie who weighs 10lbs. He was an owner surrender who lived with different family members. Owner communicated Benji is only three years old, but rescue will confirm additional information once medical records are received from owner. Benji will be scheduled with rescue vet for full exam. Based on intake, foster mom noticed Benji definitely needs a dental and will try to confirm age once vet examines and dental is completed. Benji also has several wart type growths on his back area and underneath. Rescue will have these removed during his dental. Benji is very calm, gentle, gets along well with other dogs and seems to be a quiet, docile little guy. He loves attention and wants to be with his human. This little guy is just lost right now from being moved between family members. Rescued Hearts is looking for a foster home close to Sarasota/Venice who can take Benji to our vet for appointments. This little guy is a sweet, love bug and would be an easy foster. And ………… thank you Pawsitively Healthy Pet Supply for getting Benji groomed as soon as he arrived.
