Olaf's Story
Meet Olaf at the Germantown PetSmart 3/2, 1 - 3 PM! Meet Olaf, a 3 month old Husky who is as sweet as he is handsome! Olaf is a social pup who is great with kids and other dogs. He is in a foster home with children and enjoys romping and playing with them. Olaf is fully crate trained and working on house training and basic commands. He is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives and will need to be neutered at the age of 6 months. This dog's adoption fee is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, a $100 refundable deposit will be added to the adoption fee and you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! Puppies require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue their training - no exceptions! They are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives and will need to be spayed/neutered at the age of 6 months. Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old. Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue cannot guarantee the exact age or breed of any animal in our care. The age and breed listed are based on information we may have been provided, and the appearance of the animal.
