College's Story
College is a 1 to 2 year old Male Dachshund/Chihuahua Mix(could be Miniature Pinscher also mixed in) who weighs around 8-9 lbs. College got his name when he was found by a Good Samaritan on College Avenue after being hit by a vehicle. Our rescue was contacted and we took him in at that time and got him the vet care he needed. Unfortunately, one of his back legs was so damaged that he had to have it amputated. This has NOT slowed him down any ~ he is still able to run, play, jump on/off couch etc. College gets along with other dogs and loves to play and cuddle/sleep next to one of his dog friends. College has been exposed to cats and does fine with them. He also does great with kids!!! To apply fill out our online Adoption application at https://form.jotform.com/80635351784158 Our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in the Northern States.
