Jingo's Story
Our lovely goofball, Jingo, may be 2 years old but this girl is every inch a puppy. She jumps, she’s gently mouthy and loves to chew on something, especially squeaky toys. She’s a puppy regardless of her age. Jingo is a very sweet little lady who is in need to training and consistency in her life in order to become the best dog ever. Akitas do well as only dogs and prefer to maintain “top dog” status, however she’s doing very well with the other dogs at PAWS. Once acclimated to their new family, Akitas are extremely loyal to that family but can be aloof with strangers. Given their size and strength, this breed is better suited to a dog savvy adopter without little tiny kiddos. We would highly recommend crating Jingo when she’s unattended in order to keep sofas and shoes safe. She will be well worth the effort. Jingo is about her adult weight at 55 pounds. Her adoption fee is $300. All of our animals are provided with age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. To meet our incredible dogs and offer them the love they deserve, stop by PAWS on Friday or Saturday from 10 - 4 PM, call us at 217-243-7297. We do applications in person or over the phone. This deposit is not refundable nor transferable.
