Marley's Story
Oh Marley, what a treat this girl has been. Marley is a 2 year old ShihTzu Maltese mix, who only weighs 10 pounds. Now, Marley is a puppy mill dog who is going to require a lot of time and patience to eventually thrive and be a dog. When we say she is going to take time we mean it, it has taken us upwards of a month and a half to be able to pick her up without a blanket/towel. Marley has known no other life so this among many other things, is all new to her. Marley is no kids due to her past life, we feel it would be best for her sake. Marley will make an amazing dog with the right family. Marley will also require mild sedation for grooming but seems to tolerate most of it well but does begin to get impatient towards her face and feet. Marley's adoption fee is $250. All of our animals are provided with age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. To meet our incredible dogs and offer them the love they deserve, stop by PAWS on Friday or Saturday from 10 - 4 PM, call us at 217-243-7297. We do applications in person or over the phone. You can also see pictures on our Facebook page, PAWS Jackson. With an approved application, a deposit will hold your new best friend for up to 1 week to allow you time to come to PAWS. This deposit is not refundable nor transferable.
