Bellamy's Story
Say hello to Miss Bellamy. What a sweetheart Bellamy is! She's a 15 pound 5-year old lovable and affectionate Cavalier King Charles Spaniel rescued from a commercial breeder and a life of breeding. She is a great companion who loves comfort and attention. Her fondness for watching TV shows with dogs and snuggling up on the sofa is adorable! Her foster mom is working on leash training with her, and using potty pads in the house is a good solution for now. Bellamy's friendly nature and eagerness to approach other dogs are wonderful traits, and her beauty is clearly matched by her charming personality. Those big eyes are irresistible! It's no wonder she's been able to convince her foster mom to let her sleep outside of her crate. Overall, Bellamy is a delightful and loving companion who will make a wonderful addition to a family who appreciates her laid-back and affectionate nature. Bellamy is good with kids and other dogs. She resides currently with one resident dog. She would also be good as an only dog. Bellamy has been doing very well with potty training inside on a pad. We are still working on her going outside. Regression is expected when moving to a new forever home. She will need regular grooming to keep her beautiful fur looking great! A fenced yard is recommended but not required. Her foster mom really thinks she is the Best Girl! Bellamy is spayed and microchipped. She also had a dental at which time it was discovered that she had gum disease so all her teeth needed to be removed. Not to worry, Bellamy loves her soft food. She is UTD on vaccinations.
