Dog's Name: Baby Maxine (MAX0624OWSFS) Estimated Breed: Lab / Beagle mix Approximate Age: DOB 4/15/24 Approximate Weight: 12 lbs Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $500 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: This precious girl is Baby Maxine! Maxine came to us after her owner could no longer care for her. She has landed in a nice foster home, but what she really wants is a loving forever home of her own. Could that be with you? Because she has been through many changes in her young life, Maxine is a little shy at first, but she warms up very quickly. She your typical sweet and playful puppy. Maxine is excellent with other dogs. At her young age, Maxine is in her prime for training and socialization. She will grow to be a wonderful companion for many years to come. Please remember that young babies require a lot of time, love, and patience to become the best doggie citizens they can be. Maxine will make a great addition to an active home. Submit an application today and change this sweet girl's life forever! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
