Kai's early days were tough—he was abandoned along with his mom and siblings before finding his way to our rescue. Due to limited socialization before arriving to his current foster, Kai can be shy at first, but once he warms up, he's a cuddle bug who loves to be held close. Kai thrives in the company of other dogs, which helps boost his confidence. He will need continued training and patience as he learns to navigate the world. Kai is looking for a patient family who can give him the time and love he needs to blossom. If you're seeking a sweet companion to join your home and help Kai continue his journey toward trust and security, he could be the perfect addition to your family. He was born in May 2024 and is being fostered in Texas. OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
