Hello, my name is: Emma DOB: 10/27/2017 Sex/Breed: Spayed female Terrier mix Weight: 20 lbs Friends: Adults, older kids, dogs (cats unknown) Traits: Shy at first, low key, well-behaved, quiet Rescued From: Overcrowded shelter after her owner passed away This poor girl has been through a lot but has been nothing but sweet through it all. Emma ended up in an overcrowded shelter when her person passed away. She was very nervous and reserved at first in her foster home, clearly heartbroken about losing her person and her home. As she healed both on the inside and outside, Emma began showing her true personality. She will need a quiet home with a patient family that will give her the time and space to settle in. She has a love of squeaky toys and can most often be found with one in her mouth and ten by her side. She also loves to walk and is always up for an adventure. She has done two 5K walks and seemed to thoroughly enjoy herself. Emma LOVES to be outside! She'd prefer a forever home with a fenced in yard if she has the choice. As she has learned she is safe, Emma has become more and more affectionate with her foster mom. She is a quiet girl that would thrive as an only dog just being your numero uno, or with a chill doggy companion like her.
