Pom-egranate's Story
Meet Pom-egranate. ? Now I know what your thinking, my goodness she is adorable! However this little diva comes with baggage and needs a very patient Pomeranian experienced home. Pom-egranate came to me from a backyard breeder who threw her away once she stopped making babies. Pom-egranate has had very little human interaction. She will bolt, run away from you, is hard to catch when she's outside, and will chase after you to try and bite your ankles in the beginning. Will she bite? Absolutely, if she feels threatened. It's taken me weeks to get this girl to trust me and allow me to brush her and carry her around. I even get to give her kisses even though she isn't to sure about them. She is now getting better at me asking her to lay down so I can pick her up when we are outside. It's actually quite sad because once this girl opens up and knows that you are her person she is quite the peach. However to get her there is going to take lots of time and patience. Pom-egranate is not potty trained, but crate trained. She doesn't know how to walk on a leash or do normal dog things. She is not a good fit for a home with children. She did ok at the groomers but was very nervous the next few days after. She likes to talk and tell you how it is, and turns into a 100 pound mastiff when new people come over. This girl needs an incredibly patient home that's not going to give up on her. The good news is she is good with other dogs, and cats. Pom-egranate is 7 years old and 7.5 pounds. She is in perfect health. She is fixed, UTD on shots, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, as well as had a full dental and bloodwork done. She is located in Clovis California and available for adoption threw Paw Squad. Although we allow out of area adoptions I'd like for her to stay close, within a few hours of Clovis just in case. I will offer to pet sit her for the rest of her life to make sure that she never has a scary boarding experience. Although this girl is stunning, she needs the right home. Please do not apply if there is the slightest doubt in your mind. Pom-egranate needs 100% commitment. If you would like an application please send me a message with why you believe your the best fit for her. Pom-egranate, just like any of my dogs, only deserves the best.
