Tootsie's Story
THE FOLLOWING PET IS BEING FOSTERED NEAR FORT COLLINS, CO! Meet Tootsie, an adorable puppy from the Candy Litter who is as sweet as his name suggests! Born in mid-August, Tootsie’s story is one of survival and courage. After a devastating incident where two mother dogs were intentionally poisoned after giving birth to 16 puppies, only one mama survived, though she was too sick to nurse. Thanks to the teamwork of multiple rescues, all of the puppies and the surviving mama were saved and nursed back to health. Tootsie was one of those brave little survivors and is one of the tiniest of the litter, which only adds to his charm! In addition to his remarkable journey, Tootsie came to us with a tail injury. Thankfully, it has been treated, and he is expected to grow all of his hair back. Despite this, Tootsie hasn’t let it slow him down! He’s full of energy, loves chasing toys, and is always ready to curl up for some cuddles after a day of fun. His playful yet gentle nature makes him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loving and affectionate puppy. Tootsie is currently thriving in his foster home in Fort Collins, CO, and is ready to find his forever family. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly boy who will bring endless joy and love into your life, Tootsie is the perfect match! Could you be the one to give Tootsie the forever home he dreams of?
